EuroKids Launches An Online Skill Development Platform, EuroVarsityEducation services provider in the pre-school segment, EuroKids International, has announced the launch of EuroVarsity, an online skill development platform.
EuroVarsity will conduct various online courses. The first course that it plans to launch under its platform is a program focused on Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCEd), as per Inc42 report. This will be a nine-month online program that will equip learners with the right skill set to educate children up to the age of five years. The course will offer training through audio-video, tutorials, simulations and the VAK (Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic) training methodology.
EuroKids was started in 2001 and since then has established many high quality benchmarks for educating pre-school children. It runs 900+ pre-schools in over 350+ cities and towns in India and has enabled more than 500 entrepreneurs to build a long term successful business, 80% of them being women.
Quikr Rebrands In-house Beauty Services Offering as AtHomeDivaOnline classifieds firm Quikr India Pvt. Ltd has rebranded its in-house beauty services offering as AtHomeDiva, reported by VCCircle.
The rebranding follows Quikr’s acquisition of on-demand beauty services platform Salosa in May. The acquisition was part of Quikr’s strategy to scale faster and deeper into key categories under its QuikrServices vertical, which will house AtHomeDiva.
AtHomeDiva will offer a full range of in-home beauty and styling services including hair care, skin care and make-up, through qualified beauty professionals. The service is currently offered through the Quikr app and website and will soon be provided through a separate app.
Indian Firm AppPoint Buys US Based SaaS Platform for Campus Recruitment HireCanvasBangalore-based AppPoint Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd has acquired HireCanvas Inc, which delivers a cloud-based solution mostly to firms in the US to help them manage campus recruitment, for an undisclosed amount, as per TechCircle report.
The deal has been signed through AppPoint Ventures, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of AppPoint Software Solutions.
“With AppPoint Ventures, we are looking at extending our partner network to establish an ecosystem of intelligent and connected solutions. We are pursuing several initiatives which would complement our efforts,” said Venki Muthanna, co-founder, AppPoint.
“HireCanvas with its technology and experienced leadership would accelerate our efforts to address this niche need, strengthening the company’s offering,” he added.
Zomato Gets Personal with Helpchat
Helpchat, Indian personal assistant app has partnered with Zomato, the country’s leading restaurant discovery and food delivery platform, to make the food ordering experience simpler and faster for consumers. Through this partnership, Helpchat has integrated Zomato directly into their app. Users are now able to search for, and order food online via Zomato from within the Helpchat app.

Google Acquires Link Management Startup KifiLink management startup Kifi has acquired by Google, for its Google Spaces team.
The Kifi service, which allows users to collect, analyze, and collaborate on links from across the Internet, will shut down in the coming weeks.
"We see a lot of alignment to Google's mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful," Kifi wrote on its blog. "Our team will be joining the Spaces team at Google to build solutions focused on improving group sharing, conversation, and content finding. Frankly, we're thrilled they have a bit of 'space' for us!"
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed and it isn't clear how many employees are joining Google.
Snapdeal Prepares the Framework for a Complete Acquisition of GoJavasSnapdeal is preparing the framework for a complete acquisition of GoJavas, the online marketplace's primary delivery partner in which it holds a significant minority stake, as per ET report.
It is yet unclear how much Snapdeal is willing to pay for GoJavas. The company was valued at Rs 600 crore when Snapdeal acquired a 42 per cent stake in it in two tranches last year for about Rs 250 crore.
The acquisition would aid Snapdeal to try and claw back the market share it has lost to Amazon India over the past six months, by strengthening its supply chain infrastructure and ensuring faster deliveries to consumers.
