GoJavas Gets Acquired by Pigeon Express, Fires Majority of Existing Workforce

GoJavas which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons is in news again. Unfortunately the news is much more scarier than what has been published in the past. Bwdisrupt.com has the confirmed news that majority of GoJavas employees have been asked to leave and the company will be shutting all the operations in due course.

In a confirmed news, reportedly Pigeon Express has bought over the brand GoJavas and has asked the existing workforce to look out for jobs elsewhere.

Initially launched as the logistics company for Jabong, GoJavas was set up as an independent company in 2013 and is largely owned by Snapdeal, Praveen Sinha, Randhir Singh and Ashish Choudhary.

After Flipkart`s acquisition of Jabong, GoJavas which is also owned by Snapdeal with almost 42% stakes had earlier refuted the claims of them selling their stakes.

Bwdisrupt has an access to the information that many vendors of GoJavas who have not been paid for their services are trying to speak with Praveen Sinha who has reportedly also been avoiding speaking with Media and the Vendors.

BWdisrupt has heard that new and old owners of Jabong.com are considering legal action against its directors, Aristotle Consultancy Private Limited and owners of GoJavas. It is to be noted that Gojavas was created as an in-house logistics branch of Jade E-Services Private Limited i.e. Jabong.com. At the time of shifting of logistics business away from Jabong.com, Aristotle Consultancy Private Limited was in charge of accounting and legal work of Jabong.
