The Mumbai-based brand, focused on sustainable luxury, plans to expand its team, enhance brand visibility, and launch exclusive boutique outlets in Mumbai and Delhi NCR

True Diamond, a Mumbai-based lab-grown diamond jewellery startup, has successfully raised USD 1 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Titan Capital, with additional participation from Huddle Ventures, Zeropearl Ventures, and personal investors including Ashutosh Valani, Priyank Shah, Aashka Goradia Goble, Ghazal Alagh (founder of Mamaearth), Abhishek Goyal, and Anmol Jain.

The company, co-founded by Parin Shah and Darayus Mehta in January 2024, will use the fresh funds to build a skilled team, enhance its brand presence, hire jewellery consultants and designers, and expand its retail footprint with exclusive boutique outlets in Mumbai and Delhi NCR. A portion of the funding will also be directed towards marketing and branding initiatives.

True Diamond specialises in lab-grown diamonds that are ethically produced in a lab environment to match the physical and optical properties of natural diamonds.

The company prides itself on its focus on sustainability, innovation, and quality, offering a wide range of customisable jewellery, including rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, and men’s collections. With a catalogue of over 5,000 designs and a strong customer repeat purchase rate of 1.7 times, True Diamond is set to reshape the luxury jewellery market in India.
