Neha Dhupia-backed D2C Startup BlackCarrot Secures Funding Led By WFC

This investment will fuel company's growth across all channels, including website, marketplaces and quick commerce platforms

BlackCarrot, India's first dinnerware brand for health conscious consumers, endorsed by Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia, today announced a significant seed funding round from We Founder Circle, EvolveX accelerator, and Suraj Nalin, Co-Founder of PlaySimple Games.

This investment follows the earlier entry of Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia and Agnello Dias, Co-Founder of Taproot Dentsu, as equity partners in BlackCarrot. BlackCarrot is on a mission to transform the way Indians dine by prioritising customer well-being. Their innovative product range features Bone China(Animal Bone Ash) free crockery, 304 food-grade stainless steel cutlery, and Lead-free glasses, offering a healthier alternative to traditional options. 

Yadupati Gupta(Ex J.P. Morgan and Avendus Investment Banker) and Vishal Gupta(Ex Marketing & Sales Head Wipro Consumer Care and VIP Luggage Group Company), Co-Founders of BlackCarrot, expressed their excitement about the funding and the support of their esteemed investors. "This investment will fuel our growth across all channels, including our website, marketplaces, and quick commerce platforms," they stated.
