Nexgen: The Torch Bearers
The social space, while garnering a lot of interest, feels difficult to step into. While digitisation opens a lot of avenues for social work, it still feels like a niche group to many youths, says Kunal Kapoor, Bollywood Actor & Co-Founder of Ketto. Kapoor talks about making this space fun and exciting for the youth, while also creating opportunities for social work and impact.
“We live in world of information and because of that young people are already sensitised. We need to provide them actionable ways in which they can create that impact ” says Kunal Kapoor.
During the pandemic, more of the youth, as young as 11-year-olds, came to crowdfunding platforms to raise funds and awareness on issues they feel passionate about. There is an increased awareness of the world and a willingness to make a difference.
