OnePlus 6 Red Edition Launched In India: Specifications, Availability, Price

OnePlus has announced the OnePlus 6 Red Edition in India. OnePlus 6 Red Edition features an amber like effect created through expert craftsmanship and material design. The Chinese brand recently launched a 256GB storage variant  of OnePlus 6 in Midnight Black colour.

Also, OnePlus 6 is the company’s fastest selling device with more than one million units sold just in 22 days, and the first Indian sale garnered sales worth Rs 100 crore within 10 minutes after commencement of the sale.

OnePlus 6 Red Edition price in India is set for Rs 39,999 and it will only be available in 8GB+128GB configuration. The new edition will be available in India starting from July 16. OnePlus 6 will now be available in Mirror Black, Midnight Black, Silk White Limited Edition and Red Edition.

OnePlus claims that they have utilized a never-done-before technique utilizing optical coating, evaporative film, and six panels of glass. An added anti-reflective layer was used to allow more light to reach the bottom layers of glass before being reflected off the device, creating a sense of depth. A translucent orange layer intermixes with the red base layer to achieve a radiant glossy red, unique to OnePlus.

There is also a red mirror-like fingerprint sensor which is placed at the rear. Apart from the new body shade, the hardware remains same like the previously launched OnePlus 6 models.
