Digital Content Platform Sportskeeda Plans to Raise Funds to Grow Its BusinessBangalore-based Absolute Sports Pvt. Ltd, the company behind online sports content platform Sportskeeda, is looking to raise funds to grow its business, as reported by VCCircle.
The Seedfund-backed company has hired YES Securities to raise $4 million to $5 million to invest in technology such as analytics that would help it understand user behaviour and roll out new products.
The company, started in 2009, was bootstrapped for the first two years. It got funding in 2011 from Seedfund, which invested again in 2013.
Ola Raised Rs 384 Cr from The Vanguard Group in December 2015Ride-hailing service Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) confirmed on Wednesday that it raised Rs.384 crore last December from The Vanguard Group, a US-based investment management firm, reported LiveMint.
Vangurad Group has invested in some of the biggest technology companies globally, including Amazon.com Inc., Facebook Inc., Alphabet Inc., Microsoft Corp., PayPal Holdings Inc. and eBay Inc., among others.
In India, Vanguard invested in Flipkart Ltd, as part of Series G and H funding rounds, raised $1 billion in July 2014 and $700 million in December 2014, respectively.
Delhi-based LEH LEH Sports Raises Funding From Anglian Omega NetworkNew Delhi based LEH LEH Sports, a venture created to provide easy access to sports, today announced that Anglian Omega Network has invested in the venture for a minority stake in the company. The investment has been made by Sunny Narang – Chairman of the Anglian Omega Network in a personal capacity.
