StylFlip, India’s premium marketplace for pre-owned fashion based in Mumbai became the latest startup to receive credits to the tune of $40,000 from Facebook as part of its FbStart Program. The credits received will be used by StylFlip to avail various tools and services from Facebook to further build and market the StylFlip platform to their target audiences. StylFlip also gets to leverage benefits across Facebook’s partners such as Amazon Web Services, Mailchimp, DropBox, Zendesk besides others as well as a suite of open sources and analytics tools.
Founded in February 2016, StylFlip is positioned as a curated pre-owned marketplace for premium to high street fashion brands and sets itself apart from similar marketplaces by providing a customer experience that is highly curated with only branded apparel and accessories for sale. The platform is geared towards sellers and follows a just in time inventory model with items only being picked up from sellers once there is a ready buyer.

Thus far, StylFlip has successfully garnered around 50000 downloads till date with a record 30000 users and gets a few hundred listings daily.
