Udacity Says 32.2% Demand Increase For Analytics Jobs In India

From the release: Udacity, a global leader in disruptive learning technologies, shared findings from The Bureau of Labor Statistics as they announce the launch of their predictive analytics for business nanodegree course in partnership with Alteryx and Tableau.

Alteryx is a leader in self-service data analytics and Tableau is a global leader in data visualization products focused on business intelligence.

Udacity claims that according to The Bureau of Labor Statistics, business analyst jobs are expected to grow by 19% by 2022. And that in India, advanced analytics/predictive modeling professionals are paid the highest salaries compared to their analytics peers of 12.1 lakhs on average.

They hope this newly launched course will enable students to start learning how to deliver the data-driven business decisions that will make them industry ready for leading companies

It’s an online program, can be completed part-time and is self-paced. Udacity has structured the course to give students the skills required to apply predictive analytics methodologies to real world business problems while advancing their careers. The program will comprise of seven courses covering problem solving with advanced analytics, creating an analytical dataset, data visualization, classification models, A/B testing, time series forecasting, and segmentation analysis.

India is amongst the leaders in the talent markets. Its success with the IT sector for the last two decades, strong entrepreneurship culture and English language skills have helped India to stay ahead of China and Eastern Europe in the domain of analytics. The scope is huge in India as many companies around the world outsource their analytical requirements to India.
