Umang Moondra (ex-MD, Citigroup Singapore) Invests in Connaizen

Connaizen, an early stage Fintech startup which analyses transaction data available with bank to create a personalised list of offers for each individual customer has just raised pre-seed investment from Mr. Umang Moondra, an ex-MD of Citigroup Singapore. The investment comes in at a time when Connaizen is preparing for its first commercial launch with one of India’s biggest private bank with 3 more planned in the coming months. The startup has already tied up with major e-Commerce platform and offline retailers, to create personalised offers for all of the bank’s customers.

As mentioned by Umang, “Connaizen promises to be bridging the gap between the banks and marketers with the right incentive for both the parties through targeted marketing. As a banker myself and a firm believer in the power of data in the present scenario, I'm excited about the prospects Connaizen presents in personalisation for a bank's customers while ensuring customer privacy.”

“Having Umang join us not only provides us the capital to scale up as we prepare for the next phase but also provides a highly valuable mentorship which we believe is a must for a startup”, quoted one of the founders.

Connaizen was founded in 2015 by Nikhil Garg, Sanchit Kapoor and Vikas Bharti and was a part of the Startupbootcamp, Singapore Fintech cohort of 2016.
