30 Sundays, an AI-driven travel agency, has raised USD 770,000 in its pre-seed funding round, led by Infoedge Ventures, with participation from First Cheque, Eximius, Misfits, and several angel investors.
The company plans to use the funds to expand its travel offerings, with a focus on new destinations, including markets in Europe and long-haul trips. Additionally, 30 Sundays aims to enhance its AI and data capabilities to accelerate growth while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
Founded in 2022 by Kshitij Chaudhary and Anuj, 30 Sundays leverages generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) to automate key tasks within the travel booking process. This includes streamlining operations such as collecting customer data, updating itineraries, and analyzing customer calls and reviews at scale to derive actionable insights.
By integrating GenAI across its sales, operations, and marketing, 30 Sundays claims to achieve up to 5 times improvements in efficiency. This technological advantage allows the company to scale its operations and serve more customers without sacrificing the high-quality service often compromised by traditional, labor-intensive travel agencies.
With India's outbound tourism market poised for rapid growth, projected to reach USD 18.8 billion in 2024 and USD 55.4 billion by 2034, 30 Sundays is well-positioned to tap into this expanding opportunity.
