Zomato-owned quick commerce platform Blinkit has unveiled a new feature enabling users to delete their order history. The update was announced by Blinkit Co-founder and CEO Albinder Dhindsa through a LinkedIn post, where he noted the feature's rapid adoption.
“You can now delete orders from your Blinkit order history! We rolled out this feature last week, and 1,04,924 orders have already been deleted since then. New year, new order history,” said Dhindsa.
This launch adds to Blinkit's series of initiatives throughout the year, which include the introduction of Bistro, a quick food delivery app, large-order fleets, and the ‘Blinkit Seller Hub,’ allowing sellers to list themselves on the platform. The company also launched features like returns for clothing and footwear categories and quick delivery of passport-sized photos.
Blinkit’s footprint also expanded with operations reaching Jammu, aligning with Zomato’s push into Tier II cities.
The platform’s momentum is reflected in its financial performance, with Q2 FY25 revenue at Rs 1,156 crore—more than double its Rs 505 crore in the same period last year. Additionally, its adjusted EBITDA loss narrowed significantly to Rs 8 crore, down from Rs 125 crore in Q2 FY24.
