Venture Catalysts Invests in Clean Tech Start-up Skilancer-Solar
Venture catalysts recently invested in Skilancer solar, one of India’s fastest growing solar module cleaning system [MCS] providers that specializes in providing permanent professional cleaning services [MCS] of solar panels of commercial parks & establishments through its state of the art robotic cleaning system.
Skilancer Solar offers an autonomous robotic cleaning system which is capable of cleaning the solar plant daily sans manual intervention and without using even a single drop of water. The robot is equipped with artificial intelligence to analyze the weather condition, power generation and work accordingly.
Skilancer Solar’s robot is equipped with temperature, humidity, and dust detection sensors for data collection, real time monitoring and analysis. Through the perfect synthesis of hardware and firmware the robot can clean the panels optimally and efficiently while improving its own life and maintenance cycles.
The clean tech sector in India is still a blooming one and Venture Catalysts is helping skilancer solar becoming a recognizable figure in its domain as it recently invested an undisclosed amount in the clean tech start-up in its VC round funding. The funding will help the company realise its established target of revolutionizing the solar power plant operation and maintenance sector.
Skilancer solar incubated in IIM Lucknow, is the brainchild of IIT Jodhpur alumni Neeraj Kumar with 3 years of work experience in the solar industry and Manish Kumar Das, an instrumentation engineer with 10 years of experience. The company intends to expand its product services to potential customers like solar plant owners, EPC (Engineering procurement and construction) contractors and solar O&M companies.
