We Founder Circle (WFC) – a founders led start-up investment platform has announced backing Concepto, annual virtual pitching event by IMT Ghaziabad, as investing partner and facilitator. Concepto is an yearly initiative by IMT Ghaziabad, that aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs and start-up founders in the initial stages of their business ventures. We Founder Circle will give these startups direct entry to their accelerator program EvolveX where WFC is offering $20K seed funding.
This year the event has expanded beyond national boundaries to engage a wider investors’ network. The event will be conducted virtually, and shall have three rounds including introductory presentation, pitch deck presentation, and final pitch to the investors.
The shortlisted start-ups will get an access to funding worth up to USD 1 Mn, along with a chance to get incubated by quality mentors. This year Concepto got more than 400 entries for the virtual pitching.
On the partnership Bhawna Bhatnagar, Co-Founder, We Founder Circle affirmed that “WFC is partnering with universities, B-schools and institutional entrepreneurship cells to support students with knowledge, mentors, and investors from our community. We want to give them direct access to our accelerator programs, and an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams.”

Over the years, Concepto has been serving as the first platform for many startups from the house of IMT. Until now it has already accelerated early days for over 120 businesses. This year it is expected to witness participation of over 170 entrepreneurs presenting the ideas from various sectors including healthcare, sports, food tech, AI, renewable energy to name a few.
