Women Founders On What Empowers Them?

Women have been actively involved in the Indian startup ecosystem, having set up numerous prominent startups. They are setting up companies more than ever but still, a very low percentage of investor money goes to women-led startups.

"There is a massive cascading effect that gets unlocked when you have powerful role models. The reason that I have been seeing a massive gender gap in the capital is because of a lack of role models," says Vineeta Singh, Co-Founder and CEO, SUGAR.

"But this is dramatically going to change in the next 10 years and we will have a lot of women taking their companies public, we will have a lot of women unicorns and we will have a lot of well-run women startup," she adds.
